THE PEOPLE, ACTIVITIES AND POLICIES OF THE LEGALISE CANNABIS ALLIANCE (LCA) UK 1999 TO 2011

In February 2011, in a vote amongst the members, the majority agreed to elect a Leader and to Re-register the group as a political party. This was followed by the election of Peter Reynolds as leader. Members then approved a change of name, logo, policy, web site and this led to the creation of the CANANBIS LAW REFORM PARTY in 2011, and the closing down of the Legalise Cannabis Alliance.

This page was created in order to try to save some of the hard work put in by Members of the LCA, 1999 to 2011, much of which would have bene otherwise lost.

Since the vote, Alun Buffry Co-founder of LCA has resigned; several of the long-time cannabis activists have been thrown out or offended by Peter Reynolds: these include Don Barnard, Winston Matthews, Clara O'Donnell, Lezley Gibson, Mark Gibson, Jayelle Farmer, Sybil Lucan-Brewer, Keith Thomson, Sarah Chalk, Thomas Beattie and others. see here
