UK: Oxford MP Layla Moran admits smoking cannabis at university

OXFORD MP Layla Moran has admitted to smoking cannabis at a demonstration calling for its legalisation.

Ms Moran joined demonstrators outside Parliament yesterday at a 'tea party' and Labour MP Paul Flynn yesterday.

When asked if she had smoked cannabis, the Liberal Democrat MP said: " “Yes, I went to university!

"I did inhale, yes I did.”

The Oxford West and Abingdon MP is co-sponsoring Mr Flynn's Private Members' Bill to legalise cannabis for medicinal purposes.

Neither of the politicians sampled the cannabis cakes at the makeshift party.
