Argentina: Thousands join cannabis march in Buenos Aires

Wheelchair-bound children suffering from refractory epilepsy led thousands of people on a march through Buenos Aires on Saturday. The rally was part of a global cannabis march, calling for its legalization for medical use. The demonstrators displayed flags depicting Bob Marley and toked as they marched through the center of the Argentinian capital. Child patients suffering from refractory epilepsy have recently begun to use medicinal cannabis to help alleviate their symptoms. The Global Marijuana March (also called the Million Marijuana March) takes place annually in 829 different cities throughout 72 countries worldwide.
