Friday 29 Apr 2005
The owner of a Liverpool cannabis cafe has been arrested and charged with
allowing people to use the drug there.
Gary Youds, 35, of Cavan Road, Norris Green, was arrested after officers
raided the Amsterdam-style Tea Cafe in Kensington on Thursday.
He is due to appear before the city's magistrates next Thursday charged
with permitting the administration or use of cannabis on his premises.
Mr Youds is currently appealing against a council order to close the cafe.
It says he does not have the necessary planning permission.
